Therapy
Illinois
Following a full mental health evaluation, therapeutic options, including individual, family and or group therapy, will be discussed. Therapy will be based on biotemperament using TBT-S and/or radically open DBT for issues related to emotional overcontrol or DBT for issues related to emotional undercontrol. Family therapy options will be informed by Emotion Focused Family Therapy (EFFT) and might involve TBT-S or Family Based Treatment (FBT).

With three decades of supervisory experience in both academic and private institutions, working with psychiatry residents, psychology fellows, interns, externs, and master’s level clinicians, supervision can be tailored to your needs. Supervision towards licensure is available.

Expert clinical consultation is available in many empirically based treatments, including Radically Open DBT, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Family Based Treatment. Consultation is available towards becoming a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist, through IAEDP, as well.
